Mass 4 Service, Inc. is centrally located in San Jose, CA. Our mission is to provide responsive, customer-focused, aftermarket support for the leak detection equipment user community. Our well-trained team of Technicians provides service throughout the Western United States, Mexico, and Canada. Customers may choose between on-site service or shipping the leak detector to our well-equipped facility in San Jose, CA.

Maintenace

Founded by Peter Mahoney, a USAF veteran with over 40 years of experience working on Varian/Agilent, Pfeiffer/Alcatel/Adixen, Inficon, Lacotech, and Leybold leak detectors. At Mass 4 Service, Inc. we are dedicated to providing the highest level of quality service to our many long-standing customers. We welcome new customers to our service community with the same attention to detail and high level of quality service.

As one of the most experienced and knowledgeable technicians on the North American continent, Peter has trained an exceptional team of Technicians to service most OEM leak detection equipment. Every member of our team is backed by his many years of leak detection service and applications experience. Open Positions:

Technician, Level 1

  • As veteran owned small company our team offers a challenging, engaging opportunity to develop your skills into a satisfying and intellectually challenging career. The successful candidate will be a motivated, hardworking, technically talented person with the potential to learn new skills and integrate them with existing skills and knowledge.

    Some experience and familiarity with complex systems, pneumatics, high vacuum, electrical/electronic and/or industrial test equipment will expedite your learning curve and training to work on this specialized equipment.

    Each Tech must be able to function independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, quality communications skills and exemplary customer service skills. This specialized equipment requires several months of hands-on, immersive training which Mass 4 Service will provide

    • Techs must be available M-F, some travel is required. You must be US Citizen, have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, current automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

    • This is a customer-facing position with the expectation that Techs will provide professional, competent service in a polite and professional manner.

    • This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, or crouching, for some portion of most days. Techs must comfortably lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions if possible.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Corrected vision is acceptable

  • This position is full-time. Compensation is hourly, with paid travel expenses, vehicle mileage, and potential for earned commissions. Techs work with a baseline salary of 60 hours per week guaranteed, with additional hours and overtime earned. The salary range is dependent upon applicable experience ($28/hour to $52/hour).
