Technician, Level I
Mass 4 Service, Inc. provides responsive, customer focused, aftermarket support for our large customer base of leak detection equipment users in Western North America. We specialize in preventative maintenance and service of Varian helium mass spectrometers, high-vacuum pumps and applications for leak checking in manufacture, maintenance, hazardous material storage and hermetic sealing of products.
We are looking for a motivated, self-disciplined, hardworking technically talented person with the potential to learn new skills and integrate them with existing skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have some experience with complex systems, pneumatics, high vacuum, or industrial test equipment. If you are a veteran that has worked on aircraft landing gear, pneumatics systems, or other types of high-vacuum equipment, this may be just the challenge you are looking for. Techs must be able to function independently, have excellent problem solving skills, good communications skills and exemplary customer service skills. This specialized equipment requires several months of hands-on, immersive training which Mass 4 Service will provide.
Technicians must be willing to travel on week-days, be able to lift 70 pounds, have excellent hand-tools skills, be computer friendly, and detail oriented. A clean driving record and current automobile insurance is required as most jobs are at customer-sites.
This position is full-time. Compensation is salaried, plus commissions, travel expenses and vehicle mileage. Mass 4 Service, Inc. provides all fulltime employees with access to health care, and a modest range of other benefits.
